Proving that a color gains its importance because of the color it sits next to! My feelings regarding color placement are tested in this new series of mixed media striped paintings on wood panel with welded steel frames.I love the electricity created when red sits next to the correct green or a fluorescent is placed next to a neutral. this is what makes a painting vibrate.
